Hi, I’m Gubin! Before starting this blog, I worked as an interior and wedding photographer, which meant constantly testing, comparing, and sometimes wrestling with gear (tripods that wobbled at the worst moment, filters that didn’t do what the box promised, and cards that filled up mid-shoot). That hands-on experience is what pushed me to start Shutter Uncovered.
Why I Started This Blog
I remember how confusing it was to shop for camera gear as a beginner (too many options, too much jargon, and reviews that all seemed to say the same thing). I write every guide and review myself, based in Germany, drawing on what I learned working real shoots. My goal isn’t to push the most expensive gear on you, it’s to help you understand what actually matters for your setup and budget, so you can make a confident decision on your own
